Yesterday Teresa went with me to Adauna to sort thru the issues relative to my TIP. The fellow that initially tried to help us was giving me what I knew to be bad advice. He was very nice and polite but he was incorrect. Teresa’s persistence, professionalism yet courteous approach provided us with what we believed to be the appropriate steps to take to insure the return of our deposit.
Your company along with Teresa will be a welcome addition to Puerto Vallarta.

Our Amazon Book Reviews: The Move to Mexico Bible
Glenn Wilson: The Move to Mexico Bible is a great resource if you have recently moved to Mexico or are thinking about moving to Mexico.
We moved to Mexico about a year ago and Sonia Diaz (one of the authors) was a tremendous help with the transition and visas, medical insurance and more. This book contains facts, information, resources and some very useful advice and opinions.
Thomas R. Kluzak: Thorough discussion of the country and the complexities of relocating there. I expect it to be very useful as we consider our move.

So, you’re thinking about moving to Mexico? Good for you. It’s exciting to plan your adventure and even more exciting to live it. Some questions to ask yourself:
What will you do for medical insurance?
Will you be bringing your vehicle and pets?
Are you allowed to own property in Mexico?
How do you handle paying utilities?
Can you transfer money online easily?
How long can you stay?
Will you have to pay taxes?
Do you have enough money to live there?
And it’s a big country – living in Cancun is nothing like living in Cabo. The Move to Mexico Bibletakes a look at 33 different cities and towns – from Ensenada to Tulum – exploring variables from expat population to climate and conveniences.
This book will also walk you through the legal process for obtaining your residency visa and will give you invaluable advice about health care, household help, communications, real estate and other topics of interest.
Sonia Diaz & Beverley Wood share their decades of acquired knowledge and personal on-the-ground experience in The Move to Mexico Bible.

In Mexico, the greatest consistency is inconsistency.
My education includes a three year university degree in Human Resources. Hence, my Licenciada designation. My husband's Canadian education has been evaluated for the US government as being more than 250 university courses with a specialty in Human resources. He has worked in both countries in HR including the largest nuclear station in the world and a large hospital in the US.
I have been consulting for several years. The information you will find here is based on actual experience on the many topics I cover. I process visas every day. According to staff of the various offices I process by more visas, INAPAM, Seguro Popular, drivers' licenses and citizenhIps than any other individual in San Miguel.
I work closely with staff at various government offices such as INM, (inmigracion); State driver's license office; DIF for INAPAM; Presidencia (city hall); Seguro Popular (healthcare); SAT (taxation) and many others. I pride myself in these working relationships which benefits my many clients for which I am very grateful. A typical day includes receiving and answering as many as 140 emails which I try to do within 4 hours.
A special thank you to all who have supported me.
My web site averages over 1000 views per day. My intent is to inform, to be concise and accurate. My information is based on extensive experience. I thoroughly research prior to adding or changing information.
I offer a range of consulting services, all designed to help you make your life in Mexico easier. Mexico offers many benefits to residents including healthcare, driver's license, car registration, opportunity to earn income and much more.
For those with a foreign plated vehicle it is understandable in many circumstances you may wish to keep your vehicle. There are ways to do this legally including nationalizing. In the past I have assisted many clients in making this possible and hope to be able to do so again.
If you wish to earn income including as a landlord while being a resident this is available to you. I will complete the required processes with Immigration.
I have personally traveled in Canada and the United States. I understand the differences compounded by a language issue for many. This allows me to provide a professional service in a timely manner.
Welcome to Mexico, my country, my home where the greatest consistency is inconsistency. I truly hope you come to appreciate all that Mexico offers including our people, culture, diversity, traditions, food, weather and geography.

Much appreciated comment on a large Yahoo web board: "I have to chime in with my positive experiences as well. We've used Sonia for a variety of things over the past three years - visas, address changes with IMS, Seguro Popular, drivers licenses, etc. - and only had positive experiences. We could probably field some of these things ourselves at this point, but her pricing makes it seem better to let her handle everything with the assurance it's being done correctly. She makes it so very easy!"
Please know that working with you is a pleasure. You make life easier for everyone. It is easy to see that you make life easier for Glenn and me, and you also make life easier for the people and institutions we have dealt with.
Just as important as insurance for me is maintaining my hair. I absolutely love my new salon and I especially love Ramon. I could never have found them without your recommendation.
Thank you, Sonia, I appreciate you.

In addition, Mexico was the first Latin American member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development OECD (since 1994), and considered an upper-middle income country by the World Bank. Mexico is considered a newly industrialized country and an emerging power. It has the fifteenth largest nominal GDP and the eleventh largest GDP by purchasing power parity. The economy of Mexico is strongly linked to those of its North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) partners, especially the United States. Mexico ranks sixth in the world and first in the Americas by number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Mexico is one of the top ten most visited countries in the world with approximately 27 million international arrivals per year. According to Goldman Sachs, by 2050 Mexico could become the world's fifth largest economy. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) estimated in January 2013 that by 2050 Mexico could be the world's seventh largest economy. Mexico has membership in prominent institutions such as the UN, the WTO, the G20 and the Uniting for Consensus.
